The partnerships in Uganda allow for a variety of ministry opportunities. Pastor Raphael Kajjubi of King Jesus Ministries offers leadership to this ministry, as well as to the local church, where the Lord will use the team to visit homes, share the Gospel, and meet the needs of the community. One Way also has relationships with several other ministries across Uganda allowing for opportunities to minister in orphan care and sharing with the children at Busega Community School for the Deaf and Blind. All work done in Uganda is through a local church and local pastor who are on the ground doing the work of evangelism and disciple-making. The challenges of short-term trips into Africa require these trips to be longer and more demanding of the team. The living conditions for team members are a bit less comfortable than in many other locations. In addition, the travel costs require a larger budget to accomplish the needed work. The teams will require pre-trip training and preparations for light travel to minimize the space needed for transport as well as to simplify travel. These teams will encounter a unique culture and experience that will never be forgotten!

Transportation/Lodging
All transportation will be secured by One Way Ministries. We will fly out of the Birmingham, Alabama airport (BHM) to Entebbe (EBB). While in Uganda, we will be staying in various locations depending on the worksite. Some teams may stay in homes and/or schools in townships while others may stay at local motels. Some trips require living in the townships with locals in rural situations. Transportation generally comes in the form of vans while in country.
