One area that I have always especially struggled with is patience.  God has been teaching me patience by working with those kids for the past seven months.  To begin with, I would become easily frustrated when they weren’t paying attention, but over the past few months my patience has grown.
 
There is one boy in particular that I used to say, “God put me with him to teach me patience.”  Without even knowing it at the time, I was right.  I really enjoy working with that child now and he is also doing better in school.  Sometimes all someone needs is to know that someone else cares enough to not give up on him or her even on their difficult days.  Working with children is truly a blessing and I’m thankful that they love me even on my difficult days.
